        Heidi is a 1997 Bright bay, English Registered Shire mare.  She is very sociable, and loves to be around people.   Heidi has a great show career going, including  2nd place weanling in halter at the National Shire Show in 1997, and 3rd place yearling Shire or Clyde at the 1998 National Western Stock Show.  She was the reserve Junior Champion filly at the 1998 Rocky Mountain Regional Shire show (with a FULL CLASS!) beating out fillies a year older than her!   Heidi is a truly exceptional gal.
        Heidi's immediate pedigree is chocked full of the names that have had the greatest impact on Shires in the 20th century.  Heidi's sire is the renowned English import, Deighton Commodore, a Super Premium** shire stallion, and many would agree, the stallion that has had the most impact on the shire breed in the past 30 years.    Heidi's dam's pedigree is full of some of the best shires the world has ever seen as well.  For more information on her dam, see Maddie's page.   Click here to see Heidi's pedigree.  
Heidi and our stallion Earnshaw Ideal produced a beautiful Colt, Benjamin on April 18th, 2001.  Heidi produced another outstanding foal from Ideal in 2003, and that colt,  Romeo has been sold.  She has the year off for 2003, but will be bred for a 2004 foal. 

**Super premiums are only awarded to a handful of English shire stallions at a time, and are awarded to only the absolute best stallions with the most impressive get.
