Black Forest Ideal Daisy
(2005 filly from National Champion parents!)
A show-stopping filly from show-stopping parents! Her sire is Ideal (English national champion stallion in 1997), and her mother is Barval April May, our imported mare who won numerous shows in England before being imported to the USA as a 3 year old, and now taking the American show circuit by storm. April is the National Champion Mare at the 2005 National Shire Show!) Daisy is the quality of her amazing parents, and at only 5 months old has already begun quite a show career of her own. In the photo, Daisy was about to show in a class of weanling and yearling fillies. There were 6 in her class, and she won over ALL draft breeds! We were quite proud of her! Look for her at many other draft horse shows throughout the summer! This top-quality show filly is available for sale to the discriminating buyer - $10,000. (more photos available)
Update: Daisy was the junior champion filly at the Western Regional Shire show in LA in Sept, 05, beating out about 10 other fillies including 2 year olds for the title! This is one top class filly! Another note on Daisy, she is sweet, sweet, sweet, and quite a character. She will make someone a best friend as well as a top show and brood mare!

These are just the top 2 horses from the rest of the fillies classes (championship). Daisy won her class (weanling fillies), then went on to beat all of the older fillies, even up to two year olds! Daisy is the one in the back under the Ferris wheel, she is standing in the front about to get her junior champion ribbons. A two year old stood reserve to her (behind her).

NEW! - Daisy in January, 2006, at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. Daisy was the highest placed shire filly in her class! She's grown like wildfire, she's getting up near 16 hands already, at 10 months old!

Jan., 2006, National Western Stock Show - Tess Junkans WINS junior showmanship with Daisy on the lead. Daisy is a wonderful-natured filly, and always catches the judges eye no matter who is handling.
